I’m no psychologist, but despite the fact that Amanda is a beautiful, very cute young woman, there’s definitely something very dark and cold in her eyes. What I’ve read about her self-absorbed behavior (both before and after the murder) makes me think she is a pathologically narcissistic person. That’s why I highly doubt she intentionally killed Meredith. Narcissists tend to obsessively look out for themselves, and that includes staying out of trouble. However, she may be indirectly involved. Perhaps Rudy Guede was one of her one-night-stands whom she brought home; he saw Meredith, became infatuated and later forced himself on her, things got out of hand and he wound up sexually assaulting and killing her (most likely accidentally). Amanda’s narcissism is now preventing her from accepting any responsibility whatsoever for Meredith’s death, even if it technically isn’t her fault, and she will say anything she has to in order to not take any blame. Of course, that’s just a layman’s take on it. As for Rudy Guede, how stupid can you be? As if feeling he may not have left behind quite enough forensic evidence (his DNA in the form of semen, saliva and blood on Meredith’s body, multiple fingerprints) he goes into the bathroom and has explosive diarrhea - AND DOESN’T FLUSH THE TOILET! That is beyond stupid.
