Bono Performing "Get Lucky" Is Quite Something

The U2 frontman's rendition of Daft Punk's summer smash cannot be unheard.

There was an auction for Bono's RED Foundation at Sotheby's New York on Saturday, and at the afterparty, this happened.

Bono and The Edge get up onstage with Nile Rodgers and perform "Get Lucky" like the wedding band of your dreams. At the end Bono describes the performance as a "masterclass". It was certainly a masterclass of something, although probably not the song's "definitive reading".

They also did "Let's Dance" by David Bowie.
