I understand that. I’m just saying that people shouldn’t focus so much on trying to change people’s beliefs. And the homophobic name calling tactics are useless. Not everyone is going to be happy with gay marriage but it seems like the push from people who are pro marriage equality is to tell them they are close-minded and homophobic rather than come up with effective ways to help people see their point of view. If you attack people, they are going to shut down and build a wall up against what you are trying to say.
