There are like 6,000 living languages in the world right now. English is one of those. One. It's entirely possible that a word or character in another language might, upon improper translation, look like an English word with a different meaning.
You are not special or funny for noticing this. You are actually kind of fucking with things re: our global experiment and the trials we already go through to understand each other. Everyone everywhere wants the same thing: to be loved and understood. You want that, too, and you deserve it. Everyone deserves it. Try not to make fun of people different than you are.
