Short People Are Tired Of Hearing These Questions

People are so original.

1. “How tall are you?”

Why? Even if I tell you, what on Earth are you going to do with the information? It’s completely irrelevant.

2. “How tall are your parents?”

Again, why you feel the need to know this is more bizarre than the fact that I’m short.

3. “Can I see your ID?”

“Oh, sorry, you’re just so short I thought you were younger.” Okay. Thanks.

4. “Can you reach my hand?”

*holds up their arm straight up* I’m not going to jump and flail to try and reach your hand.

5. “How’s the weather down there?”

I don’t know man, probably pretty much the same as five inches above me where you are.

6. “Are you a midget?”

No.

7. “Do you shop in the kids section?”

I’m short, not 5 years old.

8. “Can I pick you up?”

In theory, yeah, probably. But don’t touch me.

9. “Do you know *insert name*? She’s short too.”

Dude, it’s not like it’s a club.

10. “Would you like a kid’s menu?”

Are. You. Serious.

11. “Are you going to grow anymore?”

Seeing as I went through puberty years ago, I’m guessing no.

12. “Do you ever wish you were taller?”

Do you think I have nothing better to think about with my free time?

13. “You’re short.”

This isn’t a question, but apparently people think it is. Do you expect me to respond to that? I haven’t forgotten that I’m short. I get it. I know.
