Whaling: Science Of The Sea
Whaling has taken a huge toll on the whale ecosystem over the past 150 years. Since the 1986 moratorium on all commercial whaling, only Japan, Norway, Greenland and Iceland now harvest whales, for "scientific" purposes, but critics say that minimal scientific benefit is gained.
