Dear Millennials- you won't find any texting or emojis in this love story. And that's pretty damn refreshing. Here are 4 reasons why this show is one you shouldn't miss.

1. It's a one of a kind experience.

Theatre is, a lot of the time, a spectacle. There are sets and lights and costumes and sound effects. However, this production is totally stripped down. It's just two actors sitting at a table, reading their letters to each other over the course of their lives. This concept, at first, made me a bit wary. How could this possibly be entertaining, moving, or emotional? It's just people sitting and reading. But the journey that the audience takes with the characters is incredibly crafted and very real. The relationship that exists between them is so palpable, despite the lack of scene changes and lighting cues.

2. You get to see Broadway legends at work.

The rotating cast of 'Love Letters' is chock-full of Broadway greats coming together to be a part of an extremely unique show- Mia Farrow, Martin Sheen, Anjelica Hustin- to name a few! I was lucky enough to catch Carol Burnett and Brian Dennehy in the production, and was absolutely floored by their performances. Their experience and mastery of their craft was evident and completely amazing to watch.

3. Because snail mail is the best mail.

I mean, who takes the time to send letters anymore? I don't know about you, but getting a hand-written note in the mail makes me just about the happiest human being ever. And it makes me equally as happy sending one out and knowing that it will brighten the day of the person I'm sending it to. This show will bring up all those warm, fuzzy feelings, and then some.

4. You will feel every feel.

...Which brings me to my last and most important point. You will laugh, you will cry, you will experience a myriad of emotions. Which to me, is a telling sign of a great piece of theatre.
