Alternate Choices for Statues in Detroit

Detroit's Mayor Dave Bing roundly rejected the idea of a Robocop statue to be built in the city with the tweet "There are not any plans to erect a statue to Robocop. Thank you for the suggestion.". Instead, here's a few alternate choices that deserve to be immortalized in statue form. Not impressed with these choices, check out even more alternate choices for a Detroit statue.

1. Axel Foley from "Beverly Hills Cop"

An absolute no-brainer selection is Eddie Murphy's wisecracking cop, Axel Foley.
2. Eric Draven from "The Crow"

The vengeful Eric Draven, portrayed by Brandon Lee, would make an excellent choice.
3. B-Rabbit from "8 Mile"

Eminem's onscreen portayal of himself, B-Rabbit, could be a good choice as well as a representative of the Detroit's music community.
