lupinelle a year agoRe: whether the produce manager would have such information: Rather than being a pesticide, this is a post-harvest treatment. My guess, having worked for a large natural foods retailer for five years, and later having worked for a marketing order that represented stone fruit growers in California, is that a person at the retail level very well might have this information. Certain post-harvest treatments are required to be declared on the boxes/cartons in which produce is shipped. And a produce manager would see a great many such packages each day as the floor is being stocked. So it’s not unlikely at all in my mind that such a person should have such information.
