Cardboard suit by Hugo Ball (1916) of the Dada absurdist anti-art art movement. It’s funny because this man is literally trying as hard as he can to look as ridiculous as humanly possible and was so successful that his picture has become a timeless, iconic representation of absurdism. The fact that the Klan actually takes their costumes dead seriously makes it so much more funny.
