Yes, this was a real campaign released by German ad agency Das Comitee to “raise awareness for AIDS and World AIDS Day,” back in the Fall of 2009. (The related website is now long dead.)
There is so much Wrong here — the concept, the headline, the horrible Photoshop work (whoever that guy is, it ain’t Stalin) — it defies human existence.
And what the hey: if we’re going to show dead despots banging chicks, let’s get some porn star-looking hotties, amirite?

You’re saying that AIDS is like Hitler killing millions of people… I get that AIDS has killed millions of people, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t started because some sick bastard thought he was superior to everyone else. primavolta 5 months agothis was just weird and perverse… why do we have to try to make hiv/aids “sexy”? (referring more to the women in the ads than all the dictators, btw) It may not get anyone’s blood running south of the border, but it would probably be more effective to show the realities of having hiv/aids. Somehow, showing some sexy model in the throes of getting doggy-styled by Hitler doesn’t seem to do it.
