Shocking New Anti-Smoking Ad

This commercial via the UK’s Department of Health will start appearing on TV in the new year, and run for nine weeks. It’s the DoH’s first national effort in eight years.

The Department says they developed the shockvertising because their research shows that more than a third of smokers still believe that the health risks associated with smoking are “greatly exaggerated.”

If Santa bruoght you some cigs for Christmas, maybe the spot will give you pause.
