Kate Upton “Washing” A Mercedes-Benz
Mercedes-Benz USA just released a tease of their upcoming Super Bowl commercial. Ooh, it’s in slow motion…
When you title an ad “Kate Upton Washes the All-New Mercedes-Benz CLA in Slow Motion,” then she better damn well be washing said car, and, maybe, getting a little wet.
In the meantime, we won’t discuss how pathetic it is for one of the most innovative companies in the world to use the most overused chest and face going right now in your most important commercial of the year.
And we also won’t discuss that, if you’re are going to travel the hackneyed celeb endorsement route, you should at least do something that hasn’t been done before, you know, be “creative” (see above not discussed point).
According to Ad Age, Upton is expected to team with rapper Usher for the carmaker’s Super Bowl effort, but the head of the company’s U.S. operations has also hinted that other celebrities have joined.
Oh boy. Can’t wait.
