Emily G. 10 months agoGood lord. I see this article brought out the slut shaming. Christ man, a kid is a kid. If a man of age has a 14 or 15 yr old squirming in their lap trying to touch their dick it’s the older person’s responsibility to stop them. Not sit there and go “well she was coming onto me!” The “whore” in question already has punishment coming. Coming from their family, parents, friends, school. Yes the media has some part in the whole “sexuality is what you need. Sexual is what you need to be” but just because it’s a media attitude doesn’t mean that adults can’t teach kids different. Get some balls and tell that kid grinding on your dick that she shouldn’t do it why don’t ya? Instead of throwing up your hands and chalking it up to another “whore in the making”. kea718 11 months agoRape and statutory rape are two different things. Let’s say a boy and girl start dating, the girl recently turned 14 and the boy’s 15 soon to be 16… They continue their relationship and eventually the boy turns 18, considering their bdays the girls will only be 16. Should that boy be charged with a sex crime which will follow him for the rest of his life? Cases like that really do happen. Statutory rape charges have been filed because a guy broke up with a girl and she was bitter or because a girls patents didn’t approve despite the fact that girl was 100% consensual. There’s a real need for a change in statutory rape laws and punishment should be given on a more case by case basis.

kyrski 11 months agoturning statutory rape into a joke, seriously buzzfeed? this came up on my facebook feed and the crazy girl i went to high school with had a better criticism of the message/art direction than this. could it have been executed better? yes. but seriously, this makes me sick that you’d rather bitch about rats and snakes than the fact that young girls (under the age of 15) are being preyed on, and many of them bought and sold into sex trafficking.
