The Brilliant Ads Of The Vancouver Aquarium

Very creative and very educational.

Promoting a "Jelly Invasion" this month.

Just a perfectly wonderful lamppost installation using a mysterious anglerfish.

Ads promoting the "Frogs Forever" exhibit.

The aquarium put up these posters and urinal installations in the men's room of a nearby bar. When gents pissed on the pregnancy test, it registered a positive. In the Syngnathidae family of fish, it's the males that get pregnant.

Really Dannon? A man with a fucking bullhorn yelling tempting food names at our guilt-ridden dieting hero? What the actual fuck.

2013 Commercial for Rompetrol, a large Romanian oil company. Every man's fantasy: fast cars and fast (cleaning) women.

New Audi commercial. The woman is all style, no substance, so laugh at her soaked ass. The ripped skirt is a nice touch, too.

New spot via Scotland in IRN-BRU's "gets you through" campaign. The star of the ad is actress Marianne Adams, however her two co-stars are the real attraction.

"Native Advertising" is the annoying buzz-phrase of 2013 (even around here).

Now, an ad agency in Kentucky, Cornett Integrated Marketing Solutions, is semi-seriously (emphasis on "semi") offering businesses a very natural (though, one could wear a fake beard, I'm sure) native advertising opportunity.

Cornett told me via email that A&W (for their Mini Polar Swirls treat) is already employing the method.

Now back to you, Epic Beard Man (or Woman, I guess).

Cornett says they will pay you FIVE DOLLARS ad day to wear a mini-billboard on your chin.

Shit, I — copyranter — will pay you SIX DOLLARS a day to wear a BuzzFeed logo in your beard.
