I'm not denying his gift, but isn't kind of odd that he was holding a camera while he was in the helicopter flying as well as when he was on the streets in NYC? Perhap's it's pics for people back at home… it just seem's strange to me.
Stephen Wiltshire can look at the subject of his drawing once and reproduce it accurately with photographic detail, down to the exact number of columns or windows on a building. He memorizes their shapes, locations and the architectural flourishes, and will do so with New York City after a brief helicopter ride.

OMG i've read about him. he was one of the subjects of “an anthropologist on mars”, cool psychology book by oliver sacks. sachs? i don't know, all i know is that he's been doing this kind of thing since he was a tiny kid.

How magnificent! What a talent he has. How I wish I was that fortunate. Bless him for the fabulous artist that he is. May he continue to create masterpieces. :)
