1. In season 2 of the Netflix series House of Cards, the Embassy of Canada’s rooftop terrace appears in the background of Jackie Sharp's apartment.
2. Stephen Brathwaite, who designed and sculpted an iceberg-themed coffee table in the Embassy, was a puppeteer for the 1998 film The Bride of Chucky.
3. Located at 501 Pennsylvania Avenue, the Embassy of Canada is the only embassy between the Capitol and the White House and Canada is the only country represented on the presidential inaugural parade route.
4. Does this Bill look familiar? The "Spirit of Haida Gwaii" by Bill Reid sits in the Embassy’s courtyard. The famous sculpture graced the back of the Canadian twenty dollar bill from 2004-2012.
