    Can you imagine living a world before texts, tweets and snapchats? Think about what life was like at Connecticut College for Women.

    During a server upgrade that took our internet services offline for the weekend, we embraced the chance for a walk down memory lane.

    #ConnBeforeInternet: In Bill Hall, not a laptop in sight...

    #ConnBeforeInternet: Camels in 1958 couldn’t text a friend to say “meet me in Cro.”

    #ConnBeforeInternet: The photographer couldn’t check their Camera Roll to see if the photo came out right.

    #ConnBeforeInternet: In the 1930s, there was no texting at the table during dinner in Harkness.

    #ConnBeforeInternet: Before Spotify and iTunes, music was played out the window by record. They’re like big CDs.

    #ConnBeforeInternet: In the �s, desks in the Plex were less cluttered without iPads, laptops and cords everywhere.
