We shouldn’t call out bigotry because we might hurt their feelings? Speaking truth to power is good. Holding a mirror to the face of the hateful so they can see themselves is good. Demanding accountability of the cruel and heartless is good. Identifying those who are cruel and heartless is an obligation. And, for the millionth time, nobody is denying this woman a right to her opinion—but we have opinion rights, too, and the opinion of many of us is that she’s a jerk.

I totally agree with you. But BuzzFeed has no problem labeling other opinions as completely crazy if it doesn’t fit their dogma. Well shucks, maybe I’m doing the same thing here.
