Here we are at the final four! I will have to admit that Saving Private Ryan and League of Their Own threw me for a loop, but way to come out on top. Toy Story and Forrest Gump are now up against each other and it will be a close one for sure with the newest Toy Story 4 trailer on the high right now. NOW GET TO VOTING!
Votes are in and we are getting down to the wire. A League of their own almost SWEPT The Green Mile now going against You've Got Mail. Sully took another TIE with Splash! Believe it or not Splash had a higher rating on Rotten Tomatoes (90%) and took that place knocking Sully right out! The biggest contenders are still in - Toy Story, Big and of course Forrest Gump! YOU VOTED AND ROUND ONE RESULTS ARE IN! We had ONE tie which was Sully and Road to Perdition. We determined the tie breaker with their Rotten Tomatoes rating, which put Sully back on the board. A true Cinderella story with You've Got Mail beating out Apollo 13. Where my romantics at!?!??! Let's get going with round two! This will be a TOUGH round with Castaway and Forrest Gump as the starting lineup!
Opinions aside, Tom Hanks is one of the best method actors in our history. Luckily he has enough movies for us to see what his BEST movie is. The bracket was set up based on how well the movies did in the box office. Number 1 against Number 32 and so on. We will be posting each round of the Tom Hanks Movie Tournament every Friday in March 2019. The winner will be posted on March 31st telling us the world's opinion of Tom Hanks BEST movie!
