Will Ferrell Is Playing Every Position At Major League Baseball's Spring Training

Ferrell partnered with MLB to appear in five Cactus League games. Footage will be part of an HBO special that's raising money to fight cancer.

Comedian, actor, and paragon of American athleticism Will Ferrell hit the baseball diamond Thursday to play EVERY position.

The feat was also a nod to Bert Campaneris, who was the first player to pull off all nine in a single game in 1965.

Here's how Ferrell did:

First base for the Chicago Cubs:

Shortstop for the Oakland A's:

Second base for the Seattle Mariners:

Center field for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim:

Left field for the Arizona Diamondbacks:

Now playing left field. He looks glorious. #FerrellTakesTheField

Third base for the Cincinnati Reds:

Designated hitter for the Chicago White Sox:

Catcher for the San Francisco Giants:

From DH to catcher in less than 5 minutes. He does it all. #FerrellTakesTheField #SFGiants

Pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers:

Right field for the San Diego Padres:

Will played one hell of an inning for the @Padres in right field. Stay classy, San Diego. #FerrellTakesTheField

And he makes a great third base coach too.
