That's TV shows talking about time travel get to me. “We can't alter the past!” You bump into one person, jostling their ball sack, and all of a sudden you've changed all of their offspring. Which of course will impact history because of all those different offspring.

I remember reading something not that long ago about some of the numbers in physics not really adding up. The only way they make sense is that at some point in time, everything just winks out of existence.  I take that to mean, that's when someone reboots the Matrix.

Well, here's why people who don't understand statistics shouldn't be making infographics… Since you exist, the probability that you exist is exactly 1.

This is just like Dembski's Intelligent Design argument, you can't figure out a probability like this backwards.

Does it bother anyone else that the infographic said “let's add it all up” and then multiplied? o_O

Should have employed a Baysian analysis. If they had down so I suspect that the outcome for the probability of being “you” would have approached 1. Each prior sets conditions upon the following outcomes and so establishes a cascade of nested constraints upon any given outcome.

Also, the atoms that make up our mass and our world are basically empty space. It's all a big beautiful illusion.

So who got high and came up with this one? This is a total stoner stream of thought.
