All this has taught me is that micro-blogging sites are still the territory of girls under 18. When you’re that age it’s hard to know what life is because (for most people) you haven’t experienced it yet, so you play pretend. This is like playing princess, except it’s more like playing Chelsea Handler without proper grammar and with much, much less perspective. Children of the Internet Age probably practice their walk of shame when they play dress up. And I’m oddly ok with that.
