"So this is a source of potential embarrassment."

    First, let's meet our panel:

Lizz is an artist who drinks a lot of coffee.

Jeff is a coffee expert. He is the chief coffee guy at Groundwork Coffee in Hollywood.

Laura has worked at a couple of different coffee shops.

And finally, there's David — BuzzFeed's own resident coffee snob.

So, let's get to the blind tasting! First up is the Chemex, developed by a chemist during World War II.

Lizz was not a fan, and it seems Jeff agrees.

David found it a little more favorable.

The Clever Dripper is a full-immersion dripper.

David's response is also rather clever.

OK, even your grandmother has heard of Mr. Coffee.

    Take it from the expert:

And what does coffee snob David make of this brew?

    He's not done yet!

Meet the Hario V60 from Japan.

    David is not impressed.

But Laura has a different opinion...

But David will NOT be challenged!!!

The AeroPress was made by the guy who invented the Aerobie flying ring.

    WTF?

So which did our experts choose as their favorites?

    And David's favorite?

Our "coffee connoisseur" was more than a little surprised at the big reveal.

    Womp, womp.
