More like forced out of the closet by Finn and subjected to a gay intervention because the straight white male is our savior, y'all. No woman should come out on her own terms.  I AM STILL BITTER. (yeah she did bully him but outing someone is really fucking cruel)

There is an element of entitlement/responsibility that really bothers me in this case, as if homosexuality is an element that needs to be sussed out and exposed for the safety and good of others. Imagine if Tyler had been with a woman. Ravi would not have done anything beyond high five him. This kid has not taken responsibility for his defining role in Tyler's suicide; he refused a plea deal and has not apologized to the Clementi family.  To me, his actions and punishment are symptomatic of an underlying homophobia that still runs deep in our society despite recent developments.
