"Remember Me" Shows The Heartbreaking Impact Of Alzheimer's

The music video for “Remember Me” features an incredible ballet performance from my Phantom of the Opera US Tour cast mate, Christina Dooling.

You may know me from Season Two of NBC’s The Voice.

After The Voice, I released a debut album, Roads, headlined my own tour and a concert special on PBS with special guest, Martina McBride.

Alzheimer's runs in my family. So, for me, the fight against this disease is personal.

For the music video, I turned to my colleagues from The Phantom of the Opera U.S. Tour to help tell the story of Alzheimer’s from the perspective of a woman battling to save her memories.

The video for Remember Me, directed by Laura Mann, is heartrendingly honest and is resonating with many in the Alzheimer’s community.

"Thank you for such a touching and inspiring song. I will share this with my fellow healthcare professionals. What a beautiful anthem for everyone is changed by the passage of time and especially by diseases such as Alzheimer's." --via Remember Me Stories

The music video features choreography featuring my Phantom cast mate, ballerina Christina Dooling.

The prosthetics used in the video were made by the amazing Rudy Guerrero from the Phantom tour.

When Alzheimer's takes away your sense of self, you must ask your loved ones to remember who you are inside.

    Won't You Please Remember Me?
