New "Mitt Gets Worse" Video Thanks Log Cabin For "Refusing To Endorse" Romney

UPDATE: Log Cabin Republicans says not so fast.

R. Clarke Cooper, the group's executive director, tells BuzzFeed, "As a national organization representing gay Republicans and our allies, we will not allow our endorsement process to be hijacked by liberal activists like David Brock. Thanks, but no thanks."

Explaining further, he said, "Every election cycle is different, with its own factors to weigh and consider and its own timeline. To be clear, Log Cabin Republicans are continuing our dialogue with the Romney-Ryan campaign, and we have not at this time declared any intention to make or withhold our endorsement."

With the election less than a month away, however, the clock is ticking. And, as BuzzFeed noted this past week, the Log Cabin endorsement announcements prior to this presidential election have been released no later than the beginning of September.
