Sooo… they’re defining “neurotic” as having high levels of anxiety and stress? It seems like being stressed out does not necessarily mean you are neurotic, no? Especially if that stress is caused by living bellow the poverty line and having your uninsured home washed away in a giant flood? Neurosis implies that you have some mental imbalance that is causing your stress, rather than an external circumstance.
