childeharold 11 months agoI actually believe this kind of fly-by-night sexuality is pretty diminishing and damaging to the gay community. I am a heterosexual who was raised to believe that gay people should be demonized because they could be “normal,” but have instead “chosen” a sexually deviant lifestyle. As I have grown up, exposure to gay adults and teenagers has opened my eyes to the struggles that so many gay people have to face on a daily basis, because they do not feel that their lifestyle is a choice that they can turn off and on. These celebrities who treat sexuality like a fad disgust me. One minute they are heterosexuals, the next they “try out” being gay. Whatever your opinion of homosexuality, this behavior sets things back. It reinforces the negative stereotypes that millions still have of gays. I wish celebrities would stop ruining important things for regular people.

TroutMaskReplicant 11 months agoSo there’s no such thing as bisexuality for you? It’s either hetero or homo, and nothing else? “Fly-by-night?” That’s so fucking dismissive.
