The biggest shockers for me are Torn, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun *especially because people think Miley Cyrus stole it from Lauper*, and Respect. But what most people don't realize is that the music industry is in the same condition as the film industry…they are out of ideas. So they have been recycling old songs for years.

The irony is that Katy Perry was the one who gave Kesha her start. Kesha sang backup on Katy's song “Right Around” with Flo Rida. Music execs were impressed with Kesha and offered her a record deal.  Now here we are and people think Katy is copying Kesha, lol. I agree with previous posters that this is the fault of the producers who worked on both these songs.

Anyone with half a brain will realize that Reggie Mantle is “The Situation” in this picture not Jughead Jones. It says so in the linked article and I know because I am an Archie comic book fan. Also, I gotta say I really like Riverdale Shore :)

What the rest of the contributers here are failing to realize is that he is not making the point that he knows a black woman.  He is making the point that he is IN A RELATIONSHIP with her, so he is saying that because of that he can't be racist. Also, we all know that 0.2% of tea party members are like him. And the rest? Total bigots.

What a smart solution. This totally eliminates the awkward icing on the face moment.
