How Well Do You Remember These Important Dates From "Harry Potter?"

That's right. Harry and the gang began their first year at Hogwarts on September 1, 1991.

Harry James Potter was born on July 31, 1980.

On July 24, 1991, the first attempts were made to deliver the Hogwarts acceptance letter to Harry.

The First Wizarding War officially began in 1970 and ended in 1981.

Cedric Diggory died on June 24, 1995. This was the same day of the third task of the tri-wizard tournament and the day that Voldemort returned.

October 31, 1981 is the day that Harry survived and his parents were killed by Voldemort.

The Battle of Hogwarts occurred on May 2, 1998.

July 31, 1991 is the day Hagrid showed up at the Dursleys to tell Harry he was a wizard. This was also Harry's eleventh birthday!

So, you're not great with dates. It's okay...don't hide under your invisibility cloak just yet. Go mark your calendar and give it another try!

Not too bad. Sometimes you mix up some numbers here and there, but overall, you've got a pretty good memory of these important HP dates!
