I once went to clean my grandma’s garden, and it was like a jungle in the back, so I pulled out this massive plants which turned out to be something called “giant hogweed” and oh boy, I got 2nd degree burns on my hands, arms and legs, painful as hell. This was years ago and I still have the marks on the skin. Stay away from that crap!

From that list I actually love Ulysses, and to be honest I prefer The Silmarillion to The Lord of the Rings.

A friend and I were in the pool when we were teens, and he sees this ball floating, he shouts at me “Catch!”, and the he punches it really hard, it turns out it was an old lady wearing a hat like in #11. We were banned for life, but we lol every time we remember it!

When I saw the little photo above in the scrolling thing I thought he was Angela Lansbury, that’s the only reason I clicked.

If he had kept his positions on those matters private I wouldn’t mind separating the art from the artist, after all, everybody is entitled to have an opinion, but he spreads the hate everywhere he goes, and I find that disturbing and disgusting because he is using (abusing, in my opinion) his public figure as a respected author to do that.

While I did enjoy the book and was looking forward to see the movie, I recently learned of the public homophobic slurs of the author, Orson Scott Card. He is very outspoken against LGTB rights, and goes as far as saying that gay people are basically rapists. molesters and pedophiles. So for me personally his work is tainted now, and I don’t plan to see this movie or buy anymore of his books until he changes his views on those matters, which I guess it will never happen.

I don’t care what people eat or don’t eat, but most of the vegetarian/vegans I encountered are very annoying and judgmental about what I eat. Like “You know that came from a baby cow, right??”, YES I know, now leave me alone!
