The woman who made some ill-advised comments about Jews on Sweden’s official Twitter account has lashed out at Stephen Colbert for his hilarious advice. I’m fairly sure Sonja was just trying to be funny. She’s just not particularly good at it.

kea718 10 months agoI love all the people sticking up for her… If an American did something like this everyone would be complaint about how stupid and ignorant Americans are. Guess what? Doesn’t matter what country you’re in, it’s all the same, there’s ignorance, stupidity, hatred, corruption and any other negative adjective you can think of and there’s also intelligence, kindness, knowledge, and all the positive adjectives too.

Maybe she has aspergers or something… Maybe she’s just a bit mentally challenged and doesn’t know that you don’t say things like that (the Jew comments, the gay with AIDS comment, starving African kid, etc.) to a large group of people. Maybe she just doesn’t understand social norms. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and I’ll just say she’s got Aspergers.

JohanPar 10 months agoShe seems like an absolutely useless person, but after reading those tweets, it didn’t seem like she was doing anything else than being as obnoxious as your average citizen. The comments clearly weren’t fueled by bigotry or hatred, rather simple ignorance and a lack of social convention.
