I love Lady Gaga, but 'Born This Way' is probably the most generic thing she's EVER done. You could overlay Chopin's Nocturne or the score from Terms of Endearment and I'm sure you'd find similarities.

I've always considered myself pro-Gaga because I like her costumes (although I don't really care one way or the other about her music), but this is upsetting, because I love Mylene (although I will say that I am not a particular fan of this song.)

Most of her songs borrow heavily from other pop acts. It's a big part of her whole “meta-pop” thing. It's really what defines her.
