Born this way is definitely Gaga’s weakest song.

I love Lady Gaga, but ‘Born This Way’ is probably the most generic thing she’s EVER done. You could overlay Chopin’s Nocturne or the score from Terms of Endearment and I’m sure you’d find similarities.

I’ve always considered myself pro-Gaga because I like her costumes (although I don’t really care one way or the other about her music), but this is upsetting, because I love Mylene (although I will say that I am not a particular fan of this song.)

Lady Gaga never said she was original. She said she does what she does with passion and does it better than those who came before her. And shes right.

Most of her songs borrow heavily from other pop acts. It’s a big part of her whole “meta-pop” thing. It’s really what defines her.

I don’t think she ripped off anybody because the song sounds like EVERY OTHER crappy pop song that ever existed.

or people could just give more excuses as to “HOW ORIGINAL GAGA IS,OMG”. or start not paying attention to people that would literally put a watermelon over their heads(or shoes) just to get some lovin’ from the media. RLY? because quite honestly, that is just sad. but then, most of them are sad attentionwhores

It’s definitly a rip off. And the best part about it is that she ripped off the crappiest crap she could (“Express Yourself”). Why not rip off something GOOD?
