Part of this article/question is interesting to me. I’m part-Texan and raised in Texas, but I’m originally from Montreal and my family lives there, Ottawa and Toronto. Whenever people down here tell me they have been to Canada or want to go to Canada, the first and often only place they ever mention is Vancouver and the West Coast (Banff too sometimes). I find myself frequently telling them, “Y’all should definitely look into Montreal, Quebec City, and Toronto and see Niagra Falls from the Canadian side.” I don’t know, maybe it’s just how it is in Texas, but eastern Canadian cities are rarely the first place they think of or ask me about. Just an interesting observation as a Canadian way down here! Still the most beautiful country in the world no matter where you go!
