After drawing much negative media attention for a series of screw-ups this past year at Texas A&M, the first freshman to ever win the Heisman Trophy Johnny Manziel stumbled into trouble yet again. This time, however, it was on the turf of one Texas A&M's--and therefore Manziel's--most heated rivalry schools: the University of Texas at Austin.

Manziel, only 20 years old, found his way into a West Campus Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity party this past Friday night. The party was thrown for boys rushing the fraternity, but Manziel, obviously not a potential SAE fraternity member, was somehow allowed inside.

Manziel was accompanied by a body guard, and the pair's presence immediately drew a crowd. People hurled beer cans and obscenities at the underage football star, heckling him to leave. Boys booed him and shoved him out of the fraternity house doors, although it is unclear if SAE's motives were rooted in disdain for A&M because of the long-standing UT/A&M rivalry or rather rooted in concerns that hosting a public figure underage drinking could cause trouble with school officials.

When under fire for his partying antics earlier this month at SEC Media Day, Manziel stated with admirable honesty that he is simply "a 20-year-old kid in college... just trying to have fun." Indeed the 20-year-old is a young college student, but he really ought to focus on staying out of trouble.. before Texas A&M follows SAE's example and throws him out.
