A similar rather disgusting thing happened to a friend of mine, right here in the US…AT A RESTAURANT called Chapauait Grill in North Falmouth, MA. When she went into the bathroon stall, a wet rat was trying to jump out of the toilet into a large bucket placed right in front of the toilet!  We could hear her schreeching from inside the bathroom! It's funny telling the story now, but she was terrified! She called the health department to report it and they were pretty matter of fact about it. In fact, they told her that it was a very good way to catch a rat!
