My interpretation - his true nature is one of being a block head and has nothing to do with him reading from a teleprompter.
I don’t get why people hate on the teleprompter. I get that being able to speak without prepping is a good thing to be able to do. But, you know what else is a good thing to do? Think before you speak. Personally, I think that’s the far less common talent for politicians to have. In fact, I can think of one or two gaffe-making Republicans who could severely benefit by investing in a teleprompter.
