BuzzFeed's Adrian Carrasquillo Honored With 2014 Regional Hispanicize Stars Award

    Adrian Carrasquillo, Editor of Latino coverage for BuzzFeed will be awarded a 2014 Regional Hispanicize Stars Award at the Hispanicize New York launch

    Hispanicize and Hennessy V.S are teaming up to host the official launch party of Hispanicize New York on Tuesday, October 21st at Midtown Loft & Terrace 267 5th Ave, New York, NY 10016.

    T he special event will gather and honor a Who's Who of New York's Latino influencers in advertising, PR, journalism, blogging, entertainment and entrepreneurship. The event will take place from 7 to 10 p.m.

    The networking event will feature a brief awards program recognizing regional Latino influencers, music and complimentary cocktails courtesy of Hennessy. There will also be a raffle to benefit the scholarship fund of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists' New York Chapter. The NAHJ's New York chapter is the official, non-profit partner of Hispanicize New York.

    "Hispanicize New York inaugurates an exclusive group of powerful, influential and trendsetting Latinos and multicultural professionals," said Manny Ruiz, chairman of the Hispanicize companies. "We are excited about launching Hispanicize New York with a program that is raising funds for the NAHJ and also recognizes three Latinos we feel are top regional influencers."
