Obama Unwittingly Narrates Bizarre New Fable

Dan Warren, a 39-year-old scientist as well as a fan of Barack Obama's policies and his speaking voice, dissected the audiobook of the President's autobiography, "Dreams From My Father" and reconstituted it as a 32-minute audio fable entitled "Son of Strelka, Son of God." This "audio odyssey" takes thousands of one- to ten-word small phrases and uses them to tell the story of Stanley, an ugly dog-faced demigod who recreates the world after it is destroyed. Pokemon From Hell

Pokemon from Hell is easily one of the most terrifying collections of fan art I've ever seen. The visuals are awesome, the images are highly disturbing, and even the most boring and cute Pokemon are transformed into creepy and horrible monsters.

More Real Life Pokemon

A fresh set of Real Life Pokemon from Steven Lefcourt. Lefcourt says that he attempts to create hybrid realistic creatures that are somewhere between the actual game characters and real animals. Frankly, I think they're the most imaginatively real take on Pokemon tribute art I've seen yet. (Via The BuzzBrewery)

Before I started my site I did all sorts of research, read all sorts of books and visited all sorts of other sites and I'm still not clear I know how to be successful at it. But I will say this - I learned more from 5 minutes of reading this chart than weeks of research. Click to Embiggen. It's huge. [Via The BuzzBrewery]

Man-Cans, Candles For Men

These ain't your mommy's aromatherapy candles. These are MANLY damn candles. For men who just want their stuff not to stink there are Man-Cans, candles for men. They smell like manly things. Stuff like sawdust, bacon, New York-style pizza, fresh-cut grass and Grandpa's pipe. Oh, and did I mention that the company was started by a kid with $100 he got from delivering newspapers and that he donates a portion from each candle to a local soup kitchen? True story.
