Superdelegate Campaign Strategy

Superdelegates are delegates to the Democratic National Convention who are seated automatically, based solely on their status as current or former elected officeholders and party officials. They are free to vote for whichever candidate, throwing a wrench into campaign strategy. posted (Yeah, we lifted that definition from Wikipedia.) There’s a lot of talk today about Rep. John Lewis defecting to the Obama camp, possibly creating a domino effect amongst other superdelegates.
