DFA label’s poppiest release yet is a one-man-band out of New Zealand.
DFA moves away from its typical dance-punk sound and gets all wussy on us. The lo-fi aesthetic and melancholic charm reminds us of Pavement meets the Field Mice, but the over-the-top drums sets it apart from anything we’ve ever heard before.
