Stephen King and John Mellencamp are collaborating on the musical, set to open at the Alliance Theater in Atlanta next year. The premise involves a fictional town in Mississippi where legend arises after the tragic death of two brothers. Hmmm, America’s heartland and tragic death? It’s a match made in heaven.
