Fat Envelope Frenzy

A new book about our obsession with getting into college. Joie Jager-Hyman’s Fat Envelope Frenzy follows five high school students in their quest to get into an Ivy League school, showing why and how competition has gotten so stiff. Schools have just sent out their acceptance/rejection letters, and this year, as it turns out, was the most competitive yet for applicants: Harvard, Columbia, Brown and Dartmouth and other schools just announced that they all accepted record-low percentages of students.
