Experimental Blackouts
Culture Buzz Associated Press’ week-long experimental ban on all Paris Hilton news was a journalistic feat. Hmm. We did this, too. For an entire DAY (February 27th, 2007, to be exact, if you wanted to be nitpicky and check the archives), we didn’t cover a single trend on porn, Jews, Blacks, or Gays. The result? Devastatingly, suicidally low traffic. So yeah. Make sure to keep reading Buzzfeed if you love sex and/or racism.
