Controversial Billboards
Greece bans racy billboards for causing too many car accidents. “We believe they are the cause of 10 percent of all accidents in the city,” say Athens police. In the U.S., the recent graphic billboards for Captivity caused a stir and the BBC has been getting a lot of attention for billboards that let you vote (via text messages) on divisive topics. Who knew the lowliest form of public advertising could be so hot?
