The new trend in Democratic fundraising is food-themed gimmicks. posted Edwards offers a pecan pie recipe, Hillary raffles off a dinner date for 10, and Obama offers an intimate meal with the Senator to four lucky donors. It’s essentially the same thing as saying, “Free gift with purchase. Hurry, limited time offer!”
