I think this was a clever move! I mean, Barack Obama's famous people are one-off's with names, just like you and I. But McCain's… Shit. That “Famous Person” could be just about any of them! All of them! “Famous Person” could be EVERY famous person, for all we know. The king of the famous people! You know, like Tom Cruise! Regardless, Clever marketing, Mr. Schmidt. You've earned this weekend.

The “famous person” was Peggy Noonan, according to the Wash Post's campaign trail blog.
Brilliant. Gotta love placeholders. Oops. Perhaps next time, go ahead and write the quote after (and if) it has been said by someone.
