10 Questions Disney's Cinderella Left Us With

Don't get me wrong, I love this movie. But even a masterpiece like this leaves us wondering...

1. Why couldn't that girl keep her dang shoes on??

I counted 3 separate times she lost a shoe. 3 times!

2. Why didn't she just leave her evil step-mother and step-sisters?

Her dad is dead. She has an evil step-mother and ugly step-sisters. If she left, sure she'd be homeless but even that might be better than being a slave.

3. Her step-family couldn't recognize her at the ball?

Clearly she does not wear a mask or distort her features at all, so...?

4. Why did the glass slippers not disappear also?

The fairy godmother told her that at the stroke of midnight everything would return to how it was. So...why did both glass slippers remain?

5. The prince couldn't remember what she looked like?

They spent the entire night together and yet he couldn't say: "look for a blonde girl about this height..." No, he let her feet be the deciding factor.

6. And on that note, why could no other girl in the ENTIRE kingdom fit that slipper?

What crazy small size foot did Cinderella have??

7. What happened to Cinderella's evil family?

Did they get put in jail for treating her so badly? Did they continue on with their lives? What?

8.How in the world did 2 mice carry a heavy metal key up all those steps before the duke left?

9. Would it have really mattered if the duke left before seeing Cinderella?

The stepmother would have eventually let Cinderella out, and since no one else would be able to fit the slipper Cinderella could sneak out at night, go to the palace, present her glass slipper, and be done with it all.

10. And finally, why didn't the fairy godmother help Cinderella sooner?

She could have stepped in long before the ball, just saying.
