Too all the people who are like “omg a deaf person can speak” yes it’s possible. It takes years of intensive speech therapy. I have plenty of profoundly Deaf friends who can vocalise/speak (they were taken to therapy as kids) but choose to sign as their main form of communication because if it’s not 100% perfect people make fun of them :(  And not all people are profoundly deaf. So sometimes they can hear loud noises but miss most speech sounds. And not all deaf people want to hear. They are happy & proud of being Deaf and wouldn’t change it for the world.
